San Mateo County Parks repair of the retaining wall
While Boardsports reports no pressing access issue at the Coyote Point launch, it does report a safety problem. The western promenade rock retaining wall built in 2013–14 keeps flushing small rocks onto the beach and into the water, and the foot of the wall is failing. That is the responsibility of San Mateo County Parks.
2026–27 priorities:
- Ask San Mateo County Parks to repair the failing retaining wall.
